For 2019 the SHFC Big Game Committee will be using the Boone & Crockett and National Wild Turkey Federation scoring systems. Entries will be accepted for pronghorn, moose, bear, bighorn sheep, mountain goat, lion, turkey, whitetail deer, mule deer, & elk in both typical and non-typical categories by centerfire rifle/pistol, muzzleloader, and archery methods.
Participants must be current SHFC members in good standing, spouses and direct dependents living with the SHFC member are also eligible.
Contest entries from SHFC youth & adult females are particularly encouraged, even for harvesting female big-game animals.
Big game animals must be legally taken in the State of Colorado in accordance with all Colorado Division of Parks & Wildlife regulations and without the services of a hired guide or outfitter.
Special recognition awards will be considered for those members or dependents who successfully fair-chase harvested a big game animal in 2019 with a once-in-a-lifetime type license.

Entries measured prior to completing the B & C 60 day drying period are eligible & will be noted as 'green score' .
